![]() Ignoring the high dodge chance of squishy targets is great either way. ![]() Damage dealers like Arbalest may be conflicted between this and Focus Ring, as taking both would sacrifice a damage trinket without mods. Supports like Plague Doctor and Vestal enjoy it especially, being able to do their thing and be accurate in doing so. The only other generic trinket that offers this combo is the Prophet's Eye, and for good reason: every hero wants it. You're right, doesn't sound anywhere as easy as I'd have thought. The Ancestor's Pistol gives a unique combination of bonuses: accuracy and speed. To verify, you'd have to go in-game, see which trinkets give +3% crit, check the other modifiers on the trinket and then compare with the code to see if the other modifiers seem to match. Like, TRINKET_CRIT_B3 might mean that the trinket gives a +3% bonus to crit chance. Usually, programmers choose code that makes sense and is easy to interpret. so the trinket's effects are basically written in code? And I mean both "code" as in programming and "code" as in, there's a specific way to read it. So e.g I could change gem stacking from 4 to 8. Other parts of the game are much easier, you just have to change numbers. All the effects are stuff like TRINKET_CRIT_B3 and I've no idea what the B3 effect is. Wow I just had a look and modding trinket effects is evidently not as easy as modding other stuff. ![]() Usually I take that to mean that simply hex editing a file somewhere is enough to do the job, but since I'm not at a point where I want to mod the game, I can't confirm if it really is that easy.
